Stella Jean

I LOVE THESE CLOTHES AND DESIGNS. Another find in Vogue, Stella Jean, a former model, turned designer. In her own words her collection reflects her; being half Italian and half Haitian, she melds the european striped shirt with wax fabrics, bringing the two together.

Looking at these designers is making me want to go crazy with colour and bold patterns, i'm just worried its a tad too late to change my direction and add another aspect.

Clover Canyon

Flicking Vogue's May edition on my train journey home yesterday I came across several print designers who's work just screamed out to me. The first of which was Clover Canyon, they design and produce in Los Angeles, with each collection created to reflect the joyful spirit of California. The patterns and colours used, which can be seen below scream out summer, which I guess could be said is what California is all about - endless summers!
